Terms of Service – JB Field

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the JB Field website and the JB Field platform (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Accounts, invitations, and eligibility

The Services may be invite-only. If you request a free trial, JB Field may approve or deny requests at its discretion.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
You represent that you are authorized to act on behalf of your business and to bind it to these Terms.

2. Free trial

Trial access may be limited by usage (for example, a limited number of jobs) and may include a one-time grace allowance. Trial limits and rules may change. Attempting to bypass trial limits is prohibited.

3. Fees, billing, and taxes

If you upgrade to a paid plan, you agree to pay applicable fees and taxes. Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or as stated in the Refund Policy.

4. Your content and records

You (and/or your business) retain ownership of data you submit to the Services ("Customer Content"). You grant JB Field a limited license to host, process, and display Customer Content solely to operate and improve the Services.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Services. See the Acceptable Use Policy for additional requirements. You may not use the Services to break laws, infringe rights, transmit harmful code, or interfere with the Services.

6. SMS and messaging

JB Field includes optional SMS notifications for operational purposes (for example: onboarding, crew invitations, job scheduling confirmations, reminders, technician updates, and payment-related updates). Messaging is not promotional.

Consent: You are responsible for obtaining valid consent before texting any recipient. When you enter a phone number in JB Field, you must confirm the recipient has provided express consent to receive these messages.

Message frequency: Varies based on service activity.
Msg & data rates: May apply.
Opt-out: Reply STOP to opt out.
Help: Reply HELP for help.

7. Third-party services

The Services may integrate with third parties (e.g., payment processors, messaging providers). JB Field is not responsible for third-party services and does not control their terms.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". JB FIELD DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JB FIELD WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES.

10. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify JB Field from claims arising out of your use of the Services, your Customer Content, or your violation of these Terms.

11. Suspension and termination

JB Field may suspend or terminate access to the Services if you violate these Terms, attempt to bypass limits, or if required for security or legal reasons.

12. Changes

JB Field may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Jersey, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
